Right before midnight, Sunday, September 25th the Sun and Moon conjunct at 2° Libra, and another lunar cycle is initiated with a New Moon in the sign of the Scales.
If it felt like you had an emotional melt down two weeks back under September’s Full Moon in watery and sensitive Pisces, harmonious Libra – the sign of peace, balance, and partnerships – is here to your rescue, helping you to get back to your harmonious equilibrium once again.
A New Moon is the darkest time of the month, and, as such, it becomes a natural time for introspection and reflection. But Sun conjunct Moon also represents new beginnings, giving us an invigorating burst of energy and initiative, and maybe especially so now, with the energy of the recent Autumn Equinox (exact Friday, September 23rd, 03.03 CET) still swirling around us. As the trees start to let go, and transition into a new cycle, the opportunity lies there for us to do the same, making this an excellent time to start a new chapter. This is your chance for a clean slate, a fresh start, and to plant the seeds of whatever you want to sprout at the Libra Full Moon in the spring of 2023.
However, peace-loving sign or not, airy Libra also has her dark side. As an air sign she easily gets caught up in her head, preoccupied with her thoughts and decision-making processes – or shall we say the lack thereof. She likes to weigh everything back and forth to the point of the extreme, and the airy, intellectual Libra energy can easily make us caught up in our heads whether we like it or not.
Knowing that she needs balance to thrive, Libra is always afraid to make a decision that will lead to an imbalance in her otherwise harmonious universe. Because, for Libra, balance, and harmony is not just appreciated, it is a much-needed necessity. The diplomat of the zodiac simply needs to be on good terms with everyone and everything and is constantly troubled about rocking the boat or rubbing others the wrong way. On a more positive note, Libra can, through her tactfulness, compromises, and negotiations, help us see both sides of most stories. And whether it is romance, friendships, family, or business, the influence of the Libra New Moon can help you find more balance and harmony in all your relationships.
Do keep in mind though, that there is no way to attain balance and harmony if you don’t learn how to get out of your head and ground into your body first. If you can silence the constant chatter of your monkey mind, your intuitive heart has much wisdom to offer you, so you better start tuning in and paying attention. Learn to trust your heart, and you will have a constant and reliant guide on your path.
And no better time to start than now, right? Stop whatever you are doing and take a couple of deep belly breaths and center yourself. Without inner balance, it is impossible to find the trust needed for this process, because it is this steady inner balance, this anchor, that allows us to deal with life’s issues, and transition change smoothly. Balance is the key to clarity. To know when to hold on and when the time has come to let go. The only constant in our life is change, and it is up to you if you want your transitions to flow harmoniously or if the Universe has no choice but to give you a kick in the ***. Because like it or not, this Libra Moon will push you towards the changes needed for you to find back to your inner equilibrium.
But more than anything the Libra New Moon is here to teach us about the value of partnerships and how to bring harmony and loving kindness into our relationship with others and ourselves. If you find that someone is draining you, value yourself enough to let that connection go. Be compassionate enough towards yourself to have proper boundaries and say ‘No’ when your heart is not in it. And keep in mind that issues in relationships – big or small – always mirror something that we struggle to face in ourselves, so if you have been facing conflicts and can’t seem to understand why, or, as often is the case, why this particular conflict keep happening, take a moment to go within and see if that can help you to gain a new perspective. Repeating patterns in our life are always there to show us there’s something we haven’t learned yet. What keeps repeating itself for you?
Take time to sit down, meditate, journal, and do some personal inventory under this New Moon. Most of the time we already know where the changes need to be made, even though we are resisting making them. Where do you spend your energy? Is it where you wish to have your focus? If something is taking up too much of your time, or you feel like you are fighting a constant battle – let it go. If it feels like something a lacking from your life, get clear on what’s missing and make an effort to bring it in.
No matter what message you receive under this New Moon, it all comes down to how we can get back into balance, restoring our equilibrium inside and out. If the energy at this time leaves you feeling anxious and ungrounded, this is a clear sign that changes are needed in your life for you to reestablish the harmony that has been lost. My message to you under this New Moon is to stop postponing the inevitable. Approach things one step at a time, but start making the necessary changes in your life. Your transformation is taking place right here and right now, and every moment is a new moment to start creating the balance and stability your soul is craving. And remember that if you ever feel lost, you can find all the answers by simply taking the time to tune within. Trust that your heart is always there to guide the way if you are courageous enough to listen to it.
Happy Lovely Libra Moon xx

MYSTICA 100h Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
The Magic begins on October 26th
Have you been thinking of expanding your way of teaching or practicing yoga, in a way that meets with the mystical? Do you feel called to weave mysticism and rituals into your yoga classes? To practice and teach more in harmony with our Earth’s and our own bodies’ rhythms and cycles? Welcome to the Advanced Yoga Teacher Training that embodies and honors the seasons, the cycles, and the magic of the phases – both in nature and in our bodies.
As the seasons change, so do we. We humans are intricately a part of nature, of Mother Earth and her cycles, and as such we are not meant to have the same focus or the same yoga practice throughout the year. This is what inspired us to create MYSTICA: A 100h advanced vinyasa-based yoga teacher training, which brings in the seasons, the cycles, and the magic of the phases – both in nature and in our bodies.
